Not much happening in this field for a while, with all these computers and stuff around…
I have been interested in electronics since I was 12 and have been collecting electronics magazines since 1989. These days my electronics expertise is exploited with computer interface kits and car alarms for friends.
My current project is using the parallel port on the computer to monitor the temperature, light and whatever else I can get a sensor for. I then wrote a C++ program to record the results and graph them. Ideally I would like to have a separate computer to do the job. One day I will, as all it need is a 486 capable of running my win95 program (I could have made it in DOS I suppose), with a hard disk big enough to hold all the data I get from the sensors.
